Blacktown Learning Community (BLC)
http://www.blacktown-lc.schools.nsw.edu.au/
During the past twenty years the Blacktown Learning Community (BLC) has been, and continues to be, a proactive, empowering group of twenty-five schools in the Blacktown area of Western Sydney.
Blacktown Area Special Education Network (BASEN)
BASEN is made up of DEC special educators in mainstream settings and special schools, along with school learning support officers and other department personnel. It is a great way to share the challenges and successes of special education in our local area. We meet each term in week 7 at different schools and provide professional learning sessions, workshops, meet-and-greet sessions and videoconferences that are specifically related to special education.
